Rock group INTERPOL are slamming reports they are on the verge of splitting. The group have frantically posted letters to fans on their website confirming they are still going strong after it was reported work on a third album was in jeopardy. The band tells MTV, "We did break up - four times - but that's behind us now. We've been at it for six months, in case you heard we were on hiatus. "We're all very excited about it (the album) and think that you will be too. Having yet to record, we can only say that release will come sometime next year."
